We are seeking volunteers for all shifts! Contact Lead Volunteer Coordinator Evan Carr at info@spartanburgshares.org with any questions or more information.
A few housekeeping updates:
If you have donations of perishable items (diapers, briefs, pads, colostomy supplies, drinks), we recommend donating these directly to our partner organization Help For Our Elderly. Their hours are Mondays-Thursdays from 10am-3pm, and they can be reached at (864) 308-8388. Help For Our Elderly is located at 2375 E Main St SteA-311, Spartanburg, SC 29307 (in Spartanburg Mews, next to Verizon Wireless and near the Eastside/Hillcrest Walmart).
Also, we do not offer pick-up or delivery of items to homes or businesses. Someone must be able to stop by our facilities during business hours to pick items up for themselves or recipients (or to donate or return equipment). If this is something you cannot do, we require you to have a trusted contact with an appropriately-sized vehicle who can do this for you. Also, if there is an especially large item such as a patient lift, we require a truck/other large vehicle and some supplies to help secure all loads (ropes, zip ties, etc). Anyone checking out equipment must have a driver's license or other photo ID and a vehicle to borrow equipment from us (whether for themselves or someone else).
Thank you for your support!
